Real repairs, not just quick fixes
Some people picture mobile service as jump-starts and tire changes. Mobile auto repair goes further: diagnosing a warning light with a scan tool, replacing worn brakes, swapping a failed alternator, tracking down why a car cranks but won't start. These are the repairs that usually mean a day without your car. Done on site, they often take an hour or two.
What we can repair where you park
- Brakes: pads, rotors, calipers and fluid. See mobile brake repair.
- Starting and charging: batteries, starters, alternators and cables. See starter and alternator repair.
- Engine diagnostics: check engine lights, rough idle and misfires. See check engine light diagnostics.
- Cooling and AC: hoses, thermostats, fans and AC problems. See car AC repair.
- Maintenance items: belts, filters, spark plugs and fluids, while we're already there.
Built for how Dallas works
A lot of Dallas runs on long commutes. When the car is in the shop, the whole schedule falls apart: rides to work, school pickups, a rental counter at Love Field. With mobile repair, the car gets fixed while it sits in your driveway in Preston Hollow or your office garage downtown, and you keep your day.
Texas heat is part of the picture too. Summer afternoons regularly pass 100°F, and that heat is hard on batteries, belts, hoses and cooling systems. Many of the failures we see in July and August are heat-related, and most of them can be fixed on site.
Straight answers before the work starts
Your mechanic looks at the car, explains what's wrong in plain language, and gives you the price before touching anything. If the job needs a lift or a full shop, we tell you that up front. No surprise charges, and no pressure to approve repairs you didn't ask about.
Questions
Is mobile auto repair as good as a shop?
For the repairs we do on site, yes. It's the same parts and the same work. Jobs that truly need a lift or a shop are the exception, and we'll tell you if yours is one of them.
How long does a mobile repair take?
Many common repairs, like brakes on one axle, a battery or an alternator, take one to two hours once the mechanic arrives.
Do you bring the parts?
Common parts come on the truck. For anything specific to your car, your mechanic orders it and confirms the time with you.
